Tails comes to us with an exceptional pedigree stacked with show-winning does and proven milk lines. His dam, CH Wild Hoof Acres Look At Me, appraised EX90 VEEE at age four and placed at nationals twice, both times in milk. His paternal granddam, GCH Ober-Boerd Rain Tstorm 1*M, earned her championship title and all three legs as a senior doe. Setting a strong foundation of type, udder quality, and production behind him. Both beautiful ladies are pictured below.
Still a young and developing buck, Tails already shows the kind of balance and promise that make him exciting to watch mature. He naturally stands wide and square, with an impressive topline and a clean, dairy frame that carries strength without being overly fine-boned. His structure and genetics are expected to help refine our herd’s overall conformation. Particularly foreudder attachment, general correctness, and consistency of type.
What we love most, though, is his temperament. Tails is genuinely sweet, calm, and loves attention. He’s easy to handle and enjoys scratches and grooming, which is a big part of what we value here. As he fills out over the next couple of years, we’re confident he’ll not only contribute to improving udders and structure but also continue passing down his easygoing personality.

Axel is a powerhouse of a buck, thick-boned, broad, and built like a tank. He carries impressive substance through his shoulders and chest, with deep, round ribs and a solid, masculine frame. While we’d like to see a touch more width in his hind stance, his overall structure adds valuable strength and bone to our herd. Exactly what we aim for in pairing him with our more refined does.
True to his looks, Axel is a gentle giant. Despite his size and the intensity of rut season, he’s calm and respectful even around the kids. He’s been known to mow the yard on a tether without so much as a fuss, soaking up scratches from little hands along the way. His demeanor makes him one of our most trusted goats here.
We especially love his rich, dark markings. A full black bib, near-black face, and deep contrast that gives him a striking look. Axel’s strength, thick bones, and steady temperament make him a cornerstone for building hardy, family-friendly Oberhasli lines.

Billy is SOLD, but we’re keeping him listed here because of the influence he’s had on our herd. He sired two retained daughters. Iris and Ruby, both showing promise and improvement.
Billy brought in solid genetics with good bone and overall strength, and we appreciated the udder improvement and milk potential he passed down. However, he wasn’t without his faults. He tended toward posty rear legs and moved a bit stiffly behind, with a more sloped hip-to-pin angle than we prefer in our breeding program. He was also a bit slab-sided compared to our current bucks, Axel and Tails, who carries more spring of rib and depth of body.
Personality-wise, Billy could be testy. While he handled easily once caught, he had a stubborn streak and didn’t let you off easy. Despite that, he served his purpose well here, and we’re pleased with what he contributed before moving on. His daughters are already showing refinement and balance, and we’re eager to see how they mature in the next season.

Daisy is the definition of consistency. She’s not overly affectionate, but she loves her job as a milker and approaches it with the same focus every day. For a dam-raised doe, she’s remarkably level-headed and cooperative. Always first at the gate and standing quietly for the whole milk routine.
Her udder is well attached in the rear and produces an impressive volume of milk, averaging over a gallon a day at peak. Her foreudder has a pronounced pocket and her teats run on the larger side, one of the main things we're working towards improving. Her production, temperament, and reliability more than make up for it, though.
Daisy is currently bred to Axel, whose heavier bone and depth pair beautifully with her refined dairy frame. Their last doeling, Poppy, has been one of our best-balanced kids. We're hoping for some of the same sturdy elegance this coming season again.

Iris is the elegant daughter of Daisy and Billy. Petite and refined, she carries a beautiful feminine look with a high, well-attached udder that already shows improvement over her dam. Her foreudder still has a bit of a pocket, but it blends more smoothly, and her teat size and placement are very promising for ease of hand milking.
Though lighter-boned and smaller-framed than we’d like long term, Iris has a naturally wider rear stance than her dam and nicely sprung ribs, showing she’s got good structural balance underneath her youthful frame. She’s still maturing and hasn’t hit her full production stride yet, typical for a yearling first freshener, but she’s off to a strong start with a tidy udder and solid attachments.
Last season, Iris gave us two healthy, handsome bucklings and handled her kidding like a pro. We’re hoping she gives us some beautiful doelings this year with a bit more substance from Axel
Personality-wise, Iris is a bit reserved, preferring to keep to herself, but she’s always willing when it’s time to milk. She comes in quietly, stands like a seasoned doe, and then goes right back to doing her own thing. Efficient and independent.

Gem came to us along with Axel and Buddy, and she shares the same sire as Axel. Whose heavier bone and strong build definitely show through in them. That substance from their sire gives Gem a nice depth of body that we appreciate in our foundation does.
She’s a sturdy doe with a well-attached rear udder showing good height and medial strength. The foreudder has a mild pocket we’re aiming to improve in her kids . She stands slightly cow-hocked but she moves freely and confidently. Gem is not as dairy in appearance as Daisy, but she’s got a solid, productive build and has been a reliable doe on the milk stand once she found her routine. She was very close to a gallon a day at peak as a two year old first freshener.
Gem isn’t as dairy in appearance as Daisy, but she makes up for it with her capacity, power, and solid temperament. Her daughter Ruby inherited her pretty head and strong bone, along with a touch of that same front-end solidness that I would like to see refined a bit. Paired with Tails, he should help improve both of them overall.
Personality-wise, Gem is calm and good-natured with adults but tends to steer clear of small children and has no patience for them. On the milk stand, she’s generally cooperative now, though she had her share of opinionated moments early on. She’s been known to occasionally remind us to stay focused by giving the bucket a well-timed kick, but by the end of the season, she settled beautifully into her role as a reliable, steady milker.

Ruby is the daughter of Gem and Billy, and she’s inherited her dam’s calm, steady demeanor along with some of her sire’s balance. Like her mother, she has a beautiful, refined face and a wide, rounded barrel but she stands squarer and truer on her legs, with a cleaner rear set. We’d like a little more width and levelness through the rump as she continues to mature, but she’s developing into a well-balanced, eye-catching young doe.
Ruby is very sweet and seems much more patient with the littles. She seems to have inherited her dam's cool, calm, carefree demeanor. She always comes up for attention, but tends to let the others butt in. Hopefully that increased patience transfers to the milk stand.
Sleek, shiny, and confident, Ruby made breeding weight early and will be paired with Tails this season. His structure and udder genetics should complement her beautifully, helping to build on Billy’s influence and refine what Gem passed down. We’re eager to see her first freshening. She’s a lovely example of the direction our herd is headed.

Poppy is the daughter of Daisy and Axel, and she’s the perfect mix of both. Long and elegant like her dam, but with the heavier bone and width we see in her sire. At just ten months old, she’s nearly full-grown and stands just a touch smaller than Gem. She’s got that nice dairy character while still carrying the strength and bulk we’re breeding toward.
Her rear stance is already wider than Daisy’s, though we’d like to see a little more width as she finishes maturing. She’s a very correct young doe overall. Smooth, long-bodied, and showing plenty of potential through her frame. Poppy has a very friendly, easygoing personality and has been a joy to raise, always comes up for attention and scratches. She is a bit bossy, but not a bully about it, just like her mom.
This season she’s paired with Tails, who should further refine her conformation and enhance udder attachments. We’re excited to see how she develops in milk, I can't wait to see how Axel is contributing to udder. She’s shaping up to be a cornerstone in our breeding program.

Tilly comes from strong Fox On Fire and Ober-Boerd lines, bringing in genetics known for their steady milk production and gentle temperaments. She’s on the smaller side like her dam, and likely represents a more compact stature line within her pedigree, but she’s all balance and sweetness through and through.
Structurally, Tilly shows a naturally wide rear stance, which I love, and a smooth, level topline. We’d like a little more body length as she matures, and she may be just a touch over at the knee, but overall she’s a correct, tidy little doe with a solid frame and great proportions for her size. She’s filled out beautifully over the past months and now carries good condition with a sleek, shiny coat.
Tilly’s personality is what truly makes her shine. She’s the first to greet us at the gate and the only one who insists on snuggling. Resting her head against us and closing her eyes like she could stay there forever. She’s just squeaked by on weight for this year’s breeding season. She was originally paired with Billy. I didn't want to give Tails too many at once as a young one his first year, and Axel is pretty big and intimidating. Plus I'd really would have like to have another possibility of adding another polled doeling to the herd. Billy has since been sold and Tilly appeared to come into heat after he left. She has been exposed to Tails, now. If she kids before February 1st or up to February 24th, It's Billy's, If she kids around or after March 3rd, It's Tails. If it's really close, we'll have to DNA test any we want to register.

Buddy is Gem’s full sibling and shares a sire with Axel. He was wethered at his breeder’s request, and he’s taken on an important job here at Loki Farms as our resident companion goat. His role is to keep any goat company that might otherwise be alone whether it’s a single doe kidding, a new arrival in quarantine, or a friend on the way to the vet.
He’s calm, reliable, and easy to handle, though not particularly fond of kids, much like his sister, Gem. While he doesn’t seek out attention, he’s steady, gentle, and always willing to go wherever he’s needed. He’s earned his permanent place here as everyone’s “buddy.”
