While he has proven to be an excellent addition to our farm, we find ourselves in a position where we will no longer keep him due to no fault of his own.
With a new buck here, we simply don't require so many males. Although he's not overly aggressive, he has exhibited some challenging behaviors, such as being difficult to catch and has headbutted twice when we were distracted. Once secured, however, he leads, ties, and stands well for foot trimming and other care. His capabilities as a breeding buck are evident, as he has produced some beautiful offspring, including Iris from last year and Ruby this year. We appreciate the contribution he has made and wish him the best in his next home.

This guy is very sweet and easy to handle. I am still learning colors, so I'm not sure what color he is. He is the sire of the 3 younger ones and recently rebred the two older does.
REW Mini Rex doe
Kindled April 17th, temporarily unavailable until kits are weaned around June 12th.
She is pretty calm usually, but doesn't love being handled, she does handle pretty well. Not aggressive. She had 2 solid black and 2 solid white kits her last litter. Bred back to the same buck as last time, and had 3 white, 3 black this time with 2 that might have to be culled. 1 itty white and 1 black with an odd shaped head. She is a good mom, her babies are well taken care of.
Broken Mini Rex doe
Kindled April 17th, sadly, she laid on her babies with one survivor that was given to the other doe. She is now available. $30
She is pretty calm usually, and handles well most of the time. Not aggressive. She had 1 solid black and 2 broken kits her last litter. Bred back to the same buck as last time and had 1 black, 5 broken. All look healthy as of day 1. She is a great mom, she pulls a lot of fur and her babies are chunky and well taken care of. Recommend considering shelving babies if you plan on breeding due to this most recent loss. She can go exposed to the same buck as long as he's still here.

Currently hatching (as of April 22nd)!
Chicks will be available sometime after April 25th. Pricing will increase as they grow — I’ll update here as needed. So far, it looks like all are hatching with naked necks, taking after their Turken father.
Only XL to Jumbo eggs were selected for incubation. Most likely moms include Amberlink, ISA Brown, Turken, and Welsummer, as they’ve all been confirmed to lay XL or Jumbo eggs. The only rooster is a Turken.
We also run Lavender Orpington, Mystic Onyx, and Jersey Giant hens, but not all of their egg sizes have been confirmed yet. If any of them laid XL or Jumbo eggs, their chicks may be in this mix, too.
Why Naked Necks?
They thrive in our hot weather, have great temperaments, and are hardy birds. Turkens are considered dual-purpose chickens — great for both eggs and meat — and they still lay well.
ISA Browns and Amberlinks are more egg-focused, but crossing them with a dual-purpose roo like our Turken should result in strong, hardy, productive offspring with excellent laying potential and decent table bird size.
